Strengthening Bilateral Relations

A bilateral meeting between the Panamanian Vice Minister, Foreign Affairs, Isabel Saint Malo de Alvarado and the Canadian Assistant Deputy Minister for the Americas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development, David Morrison, took place Thursday at Palacio Bolivar, with the stated purpose of strengthening diplomatic relations. Both, Ms. Saint Malo and Mr Morrison, expressed the willingness of their governments to continue deepening ties currently supported by a legal framework of ten Conventions in force concerning the Promotion and Protection of Investment, Free Trade, Labour Cooperation, Fiscal Cooperation and Exchange information, among other topics.

Accompanying the Canadian Deputy Minister, was the Canadian Ambassador to Panama Sylvia Cesaratto, PanCanada´s Honorary President.
